We went to this lakefront town to visit the 14th century castle. Also passed the Lithuania Olympics rowing team headquarters (that explained the huge tanned men walking around in tank tops); tried not to get run over by the bicycle portion of a triathlon; saw the greenhouses that every house has to use to get tomatoes to grow to maturity; visited the Karaite museum (an old Jewish offshoot); and had traditional Lithuanian liqueur. Oh, and I learned to use a crossbow in the castle.
