Day 1 of the trip to my families' shtetlach

Went with a car and driver to pivonija Forest to see the trenches where 10,000 Jews from the local area were killed.

Then to Vilkomir/ukmerge, then Vidiskiai, then Pagirai, Ramygala and finally Panoteriai.

Here are some photos.  Tomorrow I go to Poland.

Well, I can't add the photos because my camera broke and do I am using my phone but can't figure out  how to get the pictures from the Google photo place to their blog site.  Maybe tomorrow.
